PIC-104-8.92 State Bridge Rehabilitation

This Shaffer Pomeroy project included surveying and engineering design for this 265’ long project including rehabilitation of a five-span (34’-0”, 3 spans @ 42’-6”, 34’-0”) continuous reinforced concrete slab bridge with capped column piers and conventional fixed stub abutments. The bridge is located on S.R.104 over the floodway of the Big Darby Creek in Pickaway County.  SJL bridge design work included removing and replacing the approach slabs, making them full-width; removing and replacing abutments above the pile cap and making them semi-integral; and repairing and resealing the deck slab both on the top and bottom faces and the ends of the concrete pier caps. ODOT CES rating for this project was 85%.
The estimated construction cost was $212,400.
