MRW-C.R.15-5.01 Design-Build Bridge Replacement Project

The MRW-C.R.15-5.01 Design-Build Bridge Replacement Project improved 1,217’ ofWest Liberty-Mount Vernon Road (C.R.15) over Big Walnut Creek south of Marengo in Morrow County.  This project replaced the existing two-span concrete arch bridge with a new 103’ composite precast concrete box beam superstructure with a 28’ wide reinforced concrete deck supported by semi-integral concrete abutments on drilled shafts into rock.

The winning bid was $1,029,990.

Our design-build partner was V.O. Menuez & Son, Inc., for the Morrow County Engineer and ODOT District 6, 2018.
