Heartland Trail, Phase 2
This Multi-Use Path Project involved surveying and engineering services for the design and preparation of detailed plans for a 1.0-mile-long project, including a 10’ wide, multi-use trailwith an asphalt wearing course in Orrville. Our work involved design of the path, two single span precast concrete box beam bridge structures over a Tributary to Little Chippewa Creek with lengths of 44’ and 37’, traffic control, storm water pollution prevention plan, preparation of the bid package, and assistance during the bidding process and construction administration. We also coordinated all environmental studies and reports, and preparation of required easements from adjoining property owners.
The project construction cost was $600,000.
