This project involved surveying and engineering design services for the completion of construction plans for the upgrade and expansion of their existing wastewater treatment facility along U.S.R. 250 in Ashland. The existing facility was a 20,000 gallons per day plant from the 1960s and had only an aeration basin. The proposed upgrade included the installation of a flow equalization chamber, preceding the existing aeration basin, followed by a dosing chamber, a surface sand filter and ultraviolet disinfection.
