|
This project, which is nearing design completion, involves preparation of plans for a 6.79 mile long shared used trail on an abandoned railroad right of way. The multi-purpose trail will be a 10 foot wide asphalt surface from Creston to Rittman that passes through Sterling in northern Wayne County.
Our design work involves the preparation of complete construction plans including typical sections, general notes, calculation and quantities, plan and profile sheets, cross sections, signing details, bridge plans, and right of way plans. Our services also included coordination of all geotechnical, environmental, and right of way acquisition services. This project is being completed in accordance with applicable ODOT regulations and AASHTO requirements. Project estimated construction cost is $1,700,815. Client: Rails to Trails of Wayne County and Wayne County Commissioners, 2008.
