RIC-Trimble Road III Bridge Rehabilitation Project |

This 2,946 ft. long road widening project for the City of Mansfield in 1994 involved the rehabilitation of a three span (45’-0”, 56’-0”, 45’-0”) continuous steel beam bridge that carries Trimble Road over the CSX Railroad.
Our design work included widening the existing bridge by adding two new lines of beams, adding a sidewalk to the deck, extending the abutments and T-type piers and making the abutments integral. In order to maintain traffic during construction, the project was constructed in four stages. Project estimated construction cost was $650,300.
